Restoration Biologist
The Skokomish Indian Tribe is seeking to hire a Restoration Biologist will participate in developing, implementing, and monitoring restoration strategies and projects. The Restoration Biologist will establish and maintain working relationships with natural resource management agencies and organizations active in the Hood Canal Watershed. Assist habitat department with education/outreach events. Development and evaluation of in-stream habitat restoration and floodplain reconnection projects. Project management and implementation as directed. Bachelor of Science degree in Fisheries Science, Environmental Science, or related field AND two years’ relevant experience. A Master’s degree may be substituted for the required two years of experience. Working knowledge of office software applications including Windows, Excel, and power point Working knowledge of GIS applications and software, i.e., ArcGIS Pro required. Familiarity with drone technology and applications. Open Until Filled. $50,000-$65,000 Annually.
